KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 6
Police have arrested captain of national men's cricket team Sandeep Lamichhane from the Tribhuvan International Airport, today.
Lamichhane allegedly raped a 17-yeat-old minor under influence, which was revealed during the first week of September this year.

According to police sources, procedures on the case to charge Lamichhane will now be initiated as he has now surrendered before the police.
Earlier today, the cricketer had taken to one of his social media pages to announce his return and his subsequent 'submission' before the authorities.
As in previous times, he maintained that he is not guilty.
Meanwhile, the survivor has already filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Gaushala Police Circle.
