RJP-N adamant on constitution amendment
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal leaders said on Thursday that they would not take part in elections until their key demands, including constitution amendment, were met.
RJP-N leader Rajendra Mahato told THT that his party would not submit the names, surnames, posts or samples of signature of those who wished to file nominations at the EC.
Another RJP-N leader Raj Kishor Yadav said his party would not take part in the elections in the prevailing conditions.
RJP-N leader Mahendra Yadav said the government had not created conducive environment for the RJP-N to take part in the elections.
Other members of RJP-N presidium could not be contacted.
