Reception to mark Nepal, South Korea relations

KATHMANDU: South Korea ambassador to Nepal Park Sang-Hoon hosted a reception here to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Nepal. The diplomatic relations between Nepal and South Korea was established in May, 1974. Foreign minister Dr Bhekh Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Korea Cho Young Jai, senior government officials, a large number of Koreans living in Nepal and distinguished personalities attended the reception. There are more than 4,600 Nepalis working in Korea at present and every year more than 10,000 South Koreans visit Nepal, it is said. — RSS
