KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday directed energy secretary and office-bearers of the concerned authorities to work on a war-footing to reduce power cuts in the country.

At a discussion held at the PM’s official residence Baluwatar, he said the construction of hydropower projects should not stop at any cost.

He also directed the energy ministry to further amend the action plan prepared to declare ‘energy emergency’ in the country.

Ministers and secretaries of various ministries were present on the occasion.
