KATHMANDU:

The investigation commission constituted to probe the helicopter accident that took place at the base camp of Mt Dhaulagiri on May 7, 2006 submitted its report to Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Pradip Kumar Gyawali, on Wednesday. The commission has concluded in its report that probable cause of the accident was overweight of the helicopter and unfavourable wind conditions, which could have been compounded by the effects of hypoxia on the crew members.
