Kathmandu, January 30:

Chairman of the Reporters’ Club Nepal, Rishi Dhamala, was awarded the Raghunath Prasad Rauniyar Youth Journalism Award—2004-05 today by the Raghunath Prasad Rauniyar Studies Academy. Dhamala was conferred the award for disseminating news aimed at garnering national consensus for peace building. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,001 and a citation letter. Dhamala handed over the amount to a fund set up for the relief tsunami victims. The academy also felicitated other journalists at the function held to mark the 94th birth anniversary of Rauniyar.
