KATHMANDU: Rotaract Club of Tripureshwor on Thursday organised a blood donation programme at Apex College, with an aim to spreading awareness of blood donation. A total of 97 students and college staffers, including Principal LP Bhanu Sharma and Club President Sunil Karna, donated blood at the function. Talking to The Himalayan Times, Karna said they wanted to raise awareness of the noble service through the programme. “It is the responsibility of every individual to help the needy,” he said, “Blood donation is giving life to somebody to have lost all hope of living. The Club intends to build a society where people care about others.”
