RPP concerned about stalled talks
Kathmandu, August 7:
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) today expressed serious concern about the way talks between the government and the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum have been stalled. The party urged the government to immediately initiate another round of talks with the group.
A statement signed by party Chairman Pashupati SJB Rana and issued here today warned that the country could face an “unimaginable disaster” if the government failed to address the Tarai crisis on time.
Rana said the eight-party alliance should take the responsibility if the situation goes out of hand.
Rana also urged the government to create an environment conducive to holding dialogue with the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum and other agitating groups of the Tarai region.
