RPP to hold central council meeting in Birgunj
KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to hold its central council meeting around the third week of February in Birgunj.
The meeting will hold discussions on the party's improvised strategies to establish its ideologies in the national politics, and to maintain the party's existence in the changed political context of the country.
The council meeting would be important in establishing RPP as a nationalist and democratic force that is consistent in its principles and agenda of Nepal as a Hindu state, following the party's defeat in the recent elections, according to party sources.
Around 500 participants are expected to attend the council meeting which is expected to be the largest after the party's central convention.
