RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa off to Tibet

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Chairman Kamal Thapa left on a visit to the Tibet Autonomous Region of China today.

In course of the visit, Thapa would hold a meeting with the representatives of the TAR government besides going on an observation tour to the Lake Manasarovar, a Hindu pilgrimage site.

Thapa is visiting Tibet at the invitation of the government of the People's Republic of China.

He is scheduled to return home on October 18, party central committee member Rajaram Bartaula said.
