KATHMANDU: The Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) led by Kamal Thapa organised a protest rally today demanding that the goverment pay heed to deteriorating condition of security, order and peace in the country.

The National Democratic Women Organisation, a sister wing of the RPP, carried out a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala against the government for the latter's negligence towards increased instances of rape, murder and series of violence against women and children of late.

People that attended the rally stated that the government has been unsuccessful in maintaining peace and ensuring security in the country.

The protest rally that began at Maitighar converged into a corner meet at Babarmahal.
