Around 200 agitators took to streets in front of the store. Security forces were called in to control the mob.

"We'll not be to re-open the store unless the government guaranteed our security," said Pradhananga, adding, "We had demanded raising their allowance and holiday benefits, but the workers had taken extra-money from the company."

He further added that the service had been halted effective from 25 August. Ramesh Thapa, DSP, said that three agitators and one police personnel were hurt in the protest, that lasted half an hour.
