SC’s officials allegedly corrupt
KATHMANDU: Nepal National Employees’ Federation (NNEF) aligned to UCPN-Maoist has accused the high- ranking officials of the Supreme Court of their involvement in a massive corruption while installing Information Technology (IT) systems in the judiciary.
The senior officials made away with a large sum while installing computer systems, the chairman of NNEF told The Himalayan Times, today.
“Installation of low quality CCTVs is a part of the show,” he added. He further accused the Registrar for protecting his nephew who he said was an IT officer there.
“We are not against IT systems in the judiciary but we want an independent panel to investigate the case,” he said. NNEF would make public the findings regarding the irregularity, he added.
