Scholarship applications called from gazetted officers

Ministry of Finance, Ministry of General Administration, the Embassy of Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency in Nepal has announced opening of the applications for ‘The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid 2016’ (academic year 2017-2018).

A press statement issued here today by the Japanese Embassy in Nepal said young and highly capable Nepali gazetted officials can apply for Japan Development Scholarships.

It said the JDS project aims to support human resource development in countries that are partners of Japan Grant Aid by providing an opportunity to young and highly capable government officials to obtain master’s degree.

“These fellows are expected to formulate and implement social and economic development plans and become leaders in their countries,” it said.
