Scholarships for have-nots

BHAKTAPUR: The WYG International, United Kingdom, as a part of its Conflict Mitigation Programme II, Monday awarded scholarships to four students from the Dalit and marginalised communities.

Sundar Bahadur Sheni from National Dalit Commission, Sunita Dhimal from the National Federation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities, Urmila Rokka from the National Women’s Commission and Kiran Kumari Chaudhari from the Tharu Kalyankari Sangh have been selected for five-year graduate programme in Law in Kathmandu School of Law.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, stationery cost, library fees, living allowance and pocket money amounting to Rs 7,000.
