School built with Italian aid opened

Lalitpur, January 3:

President of the International Police Association, Chioggia city of Italy, Ciampoli, inaugurated the building of the Byoma Primary School at Mudol Village, Lalitpur, today. The building was constructed at a cost of Rs 10,00,000.

Chioggia is the chief of the Italian team that had played a key role in collecting donations for the construction of the building in Italy. School bags, books, stationeries and toys were handed over to children on the occasion.

He also handed over educational materials and toys to the chairman of the School management committee, Jana Bahadur Tamang. Chioggia has been involved in various humanitarian aid programmes in Nepal.
