KATHMANDU: A biker died after a school bus hit a scooter he was riding on in Lalitpur on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ibhan Amatya (18) of Kalidhara, Kathmandu-16.

According to DSP Police Kishan Singha Thapa, the two-wheeler (Ba 56 Pa 959) was hit by the bus (Ba 1 Kha 3050) belonging to Gyanodaya School in Pulchowk of Lalitpur today.

Critically injured in the incident, Amatya breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Alka Hospital in Jawalakhel.
