KATHMANDU: A two-year-old boy died after being hit by a school bus at Gorkarneshwor Municipality-4, on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

Police identified the deceased as Ayush Moktan of Sindhuli district currently residing in Gokarneshwor Municipality-2.

A minor who was hit by a Bidya Naya School bus (Ba 3 Kha 2815) near the Maiti Nepal office in the area, died on the way to nearby hospital, according to police.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the vehicle and rounded its driver for further investigation and action.
