KATHMANDU: Police arrested a person on the charge of scooter theft from Jyatha in KMC-26 on Monday night.

The arrestee has been identified as Gyan Bahadur Tamang (21) of Gajuri Rural Municipality-8 in Dhading district, currently residing in Sitapaila, Ramkot in Nagarjun Municipality of Kathmandu district.

Police nabbed Tamang while he was trying to take away the scooter (Ba 90 Pa 1540) parked in front of the Hotel Jyuding last night.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
