KATHMANDU: Hundred bighas of land that the Unified CPN-Maoist arbitrarily captured from locals of Dang district during conflict has not been returned to the rightful owners, said Human Rights Organisation of Nepal. It is incompetence on the part of the government to remain mute spectator even reports are pouring in that Maoists started selling the land seized from locals, taking commissions from the purchasers and the party also took 20 per cent of the amount received from the land sale, said HURON, urging the government to take legal actions against the guilty and ensure people ‘s rights.
