SEJON pays tribute to late journalist Neupane

KATHMANDU: Journalists on Thursday paid tribute to late journalist Sanjay Neupane at a programme organised by the Society of Economic Journalists, Nepal (SEJON-Nepal) in Kathmandu.

Media persons who had gathered there shed light on his contribution to the advancement of business journalism in Nepal.

On the occasion, the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) President Mahendra Bista recalled late journalist Neupane as a dedicated and outstanding personality of the entire country.

SEJON President Gokarna Awasthi and Founding President Prateek Pradhan also highlighted Neupane's role in uplifting the country's finance journalism.

Journalist Neupane had died of anaplastic astrocytoma on November 4 at the age of 44.

He had worked as a Vice-President of SEJON.

He is survived by his spouse, a daughter and a son.
