Seto Machhindranath chariot procession on April 14-16
KATHMANDU: The chariot procession of Seto Machhindranath deity would take place from April 14 to 16.
A gathering of the stakeholders to be held at Teendhara Pathsala on March 28 morning will make an onsite inspection of the possible route of the chariot procession, according to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
It was decided by a meeting of the stakeholders today.
Secretary at the Ministry Prem Kumar Rai, Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ram Krishna Subedi, representatives of Guthi Sansthan, the priest of Machhindranath, representatives from Nepal Police, Department of Roads and traffic police had attended the meeting.
