KATHMANDU: A 65-year-old person succumbed to the injuries he sustained after being hit by a passenger bus in Dhobighat of Lalitpur on Friday.

Police said Bal Bahadur Telangi from Thadodhunga, Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City-3 was hit by the bus (Ba 1 Kha 129) while he was on foot at the local Dhobighat Chok.

He was rushed to the nearby Mega Hospital, where he breathed his last during treatment.

Meanwhile, Rajeshwor Magar (45) from the same place sustained injuries in the accident.

The bus driver ran away after the mishap and police have launched a manhunt.
