SLC examinations controller suffers stroke

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Education has given the responsibility of the Examinations Controller to its Joint Secretary Krishna Prasad Kapri.

The Ministry's move comes after Controller of Examinations Khagendra Nepal suffered a stroke when the Office of the Controller of Examinations was printing question papers for the forthcoming School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations. Nepal is currently undergoing treatment at the Norvic Hospital.

Kapri, the Director of the Central Regional Education Directorate, was assigned the responsibility as per the decision of the Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Ministry spokesman Hari Prasad Lamsal stated.

The Ministry has wished speedy recovery of Nepal.
