Split voting begins to elect new PM
KATHMANDU: As both contenders did not withdraw the candidacy, Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang began split voting in the Parliament voting today.
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala are locking their horns with each-other.
He has asked lawmakers supporting CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli to sign on the list on left side of the dais and those supporting Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala to sign on the list on right side of the dais.
No lawmaker can abstain from voting, according to Nembang.
