Sri Lankan President returns
KATHMANDU: President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena flew home this afternoon after concluding a goodwill visit to Nepal.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav bade farewell to Sri Lankan President Sirisena at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Sri Lankan President and his spouse Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari were on a goodwill visit to Nepal from September 1 at the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
The President of Sri Lanka had arrived in Nepal on August 29 as head of the Sri Lankan delegation in the Fourth BIMSTEC Summit that concluded on August 31.
