KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal  has administered the oath of office and secrecy to State Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Janak Raj Chaudhary at the Office of  Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday.

Chaudhary was inducted in the Cabinet along with two other state ministers from the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar’s party, Nepal Democratic Forum on May 9.

He, however, had missed the swearing-in ceremony on that day as he reportedly had been out of the Kathmandu Valley.

DPM and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Sita Devi Yadav, Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jitendra Dev and senior officials were also present on the occasion today.
