Statute be drafted on time: PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday said that the government is committed to draft the constitution on time.

Speaking at a programme organised in Kathmandu on the occasion of Christmas he said that the ongoing political instability poses a grave threat to the constitution drafting process. He again said that if the situation remains the same the constitution would not be drafted on time.

He also stressed on the importance of ethnic understanding among the people to develop the country. He appealed to the people to move ahead as brothers.
