KATHMANDU: Eighteen students from nine districts of the country were awarded on Friday by

the Education and Development (READ) for their outstanding pieces in the Natilnal Essay-writing Competition — 2061 held in March. The competition was held for students in three categories — lower secondary, secondary and higher secondary on ‘Role of library in the development of the education’, ‘Education and peace are complementary to each other’ and ‘Challenges of the present education’ respectively. — HNS
