Students’ stir on at CTEVT
Kathmandu, August 29:
The students affiliated with Nepal Dental Science Association (NDSA) continued the lockout at the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for the second day today. They gave continuity to their sit-in.
Yesterday, the students staged a sit-in and padlocked two rooms of senior officers and CTEVT’s two divisions alleging the centre of not taking initiatives to upgrade one-year dental hygiene course into three-year Intermediate in Dental Science as per a Cabinet’s
decision.
Talking with this daily, NDSA’s president Michael Devkota said they would submit memorandums to the Minister of Education on August 31 and to the Prime Minister on September 1 to draw their attention to the Cabinet decision.
