Succour for students

KATHMANDU: Joint initiation of Human Rights and Peace Society Nepal, Pudasaini Maitri Samaj, Ramro Jorpati Hamro Jorpati and Baudha Sarsaphai on Wednesday provided new clothes and caps to more than a hundred students of Sindhupalchowk.

A press statement issued by HURPES said 106 students of Phandim Bhanjyang in Sindhupalchowk were distributed new tracksuits and caps worth Rs 116,600.

An eight-member team led by Homkanta Chaulagain had reached Jwaladevi Lower Secondary School in Phandim Bhanjyang on Wednesday to distribute the clothes.

The programme was coordinated by Ram Krishna Baral, vice chair of HURPES Kathmandu chapter, it said.
