KATHMANDU: A youth, who presented himself as a policeman in civvies, to swindle two persons, has been arrested, in Koteshwor of Kathmandu, on Sunday.

Samser Mahat (21), a permanent resident of Bishrampur-5 of Rautahat district, currently residing at the SOS Marga in Koteshwor reportedly demanded some money from Bikas Rawal (27) and Rakesh Neupane (26) last night.

The suspect had also used a fake communication set to give an impression that he was a policeman.

However, the duo did not believe in him and handed over to a patrol team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Koteshwor.

Police are looking into the case.
