Swiss ambassador calls on PM

KATHMANDU: The Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Jorg Giovanni Frieden paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at latter's office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

On the occasion, the Swiss ambassador inquired about the political stability in Nepal and provincial level elections. He also expressed pleasure on the existing cooperation and coordination between the two nations.

In return, PM Dahal thanked the ambassador for the Swiss government's assistance to Nepal's political transformation. He further said the government was working vigorously to holding the local election on the fixed date as the implementation of the local level has already started.

He also expressed belief that the political instability would end soon as discussions with the Madhes-centric parties are going on, the PM's Secretariat informed.
