Tarun Dal to rally for peace

Kathmandu, October 25:

Nepal Tarun Dal is organising a march past in the Valley tomorrow to pile pressure on the government to stick to past agreements.

Acting president of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala will inaugurate the march past, which will begin from Ratna Park.

“The rally also aims to pressure the government to draft the constitution on time, keep the national army free from political interference and put an end to political interference on the judiciary,” leaders of Nepal Tarun Dal said at a press conference held at the Nepali Congress party office today. On the occasion, convener of the 56th establishment day celebration organising committee of the NTD Yam Bahadur Gurung said the NTD will also pile pressure on the government to establish a resourceful Youth Ministry. According to him, the youth-wing of the Nepali Congress will also nudge the government to guarantee human rights, democracy and peace in the country. The NTD also plans to organise the similar programmes in other parts of the country to celebrate its establishment day.
