Taxi driver, passenger fatally injured in Suryabinayak road accident
BHAKTAPUR: A taxi driver and a passenger, who were critically injured after a vehicle they were travelling on fell below the road in Bhaktapur on Monday, passed away in course of treatment.
The deceased have been identified as the taxi driver Buddhi Bahadur Lama (24) of Mankha in Sindhupalchok and the passenger Nam Bahadur Tamang (40) of Simle-7 in Sindhupalchok district.
The taxi (Ba 2 Ja 2352) had skidded off the road and fell 150 metres below the road on hill at Tathali in the Suryabinayak Municipality- 10, according to police.
Among the injured, Tamang breathed his last during the course of treatment at Madhyapur Thimi Hospital on Monday while Lama died at the Blue Cross Hospital in Tripureshwor on Tuesday.
