KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee on Monday unanimously endorsed two names for the Supreme Court justices.

The meeting of the Judicial Council recently had recommended Tej Bahadur KC and Purushottam Bhandari for the vacant positions of SC justices.

Both are currently working as Chief Judges of the High Courts.

The Committee had asked the nominees to present their work plans and perspectives during the meeting held today.

The would-be justices expressed their commitments to increase the access of all to the justice following the strategy prepared by the Court.

They even committed themselves to deciding the cases in a prompt and efficient manner.
