Temple inaugurated

Minister of state for physical planning and works, Keshav Thapa, inaugurated the Radha Krishna temple built at Charkhandi of Dadikot Village Development Committee on Saturday.Speaking on the occasion, minister of state, Thapa said that the whole civil society should encounter the Maoist terrorists who were pushing the country backwards by killing and terrorising the people and destroying development infrastructures.He said that the Maoists should give up their arms and join the national mainstream of politics for peace and overall development in the country.On the occasion Minister Thapa felicitated industrialist Krishna Lal Maharjan, Pandits Baikuntha Prasad Adhikari and Dhruba Prasad Poudel by honouring them with shawls for their contribution in building the temple.MP Lekhnath Neupane said that the government could not hold talks with the Maoists until they surrender their arms to the government.Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Madan Krishna Shrestha stressed the need to develop spiritualism along with materialism.The ministry of local development had provided Rs 90,000, Srimad Bhagwat Puran Rs 100,001, the local residents Rs 9,800, industrialist Krishna Lal Maharjan Rs 15,000 for construction of the Radhakrishna temple built by Dadikot-Siruwatar Charkhandi Pilgrimage Area Development and Protection Committee.
