Tension at NSP-A office
Kathmandu, September 17:
Cadres of Nepal Sadbhawana Party-Anandidevi (NSP-A) engaged in a brief scuffle after a group led by Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Rajendra Mahato tried to enter the party office, while another group tried to prevent their entry.
“We were barred from entering the party office and there were bamboo sticks and weapons kept in the office building and it was padlocked,” said Mahato, who was recently elected chairman of the party. “The party office entry should remain open for all activists and leaders,” he said.
Police personnel have been mobilised at the party office in Baneshwor to prevent any untoward incident. Police, meanwhile, arrested NSP-A cadres, including Bikash Tiwari.
