Thakur says general strike, border blockade will continue
KATHMANDU: The chairman of Tarai-Madhesh Democratic Party, Mahantha Thakur, said on Wednesday that the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front would continue the general strike and obstruction at the Nepal-India border entry points in the Tarai-Madhes region.
Thakur had said yesterday that the UDMF would discuss whether to withdraw the blockade in its meeting after January 3.
