KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot after being hit by a tipper near the Thankot Check Post in Chandragiri Municipality-10 on the western outskirts of Kathmandu, on Sunday.

Police identified the deceased as 22-year-old Shree Krishna Khadka from Madhumalla-4 in Morang district.

The two-wheeler (78 Pa 1469) was fatally hit by the tipper (Ba 3 Kha 4545), informed police.

Meanwhile, police said they impounded the vehicle and rounded up the driver for further investigation.
