KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 197,000 were stolen from a house in Sunrise Chok of KMC-32 on Thursday, police said.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the unattended rented room of Ramchandra Poudel of Panchkhal in Kavre district and made off with various gold jewelleries.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the incident is underway and search is on for the burglar, said police.
