KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 167,500 were stolen from a house in Kageshwari Manahara Municipality-4 of  Kathmandu district on Tuesday.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the house belonging to Sushila Thapa and made off with Rs 30,000 cash and various gold jewelleries.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway and search is on for the absconding perpetrators, said police.
