Kathmandu, June 3 :

Professor Dr Govinda Malla and his wife, on returning to their Maitidevi house at 8:30 pm this evening, were shocked out of their wits on finding some thieves busy packing goods inside

the house.

When the two entered their house premises, two people were already inside the house, rummaging for valuables. “They decamped with many valuables by breaking open our wardrobe,” Mrs Malla said.

As she ran for help, the thieves inside started beating up Dr Malla, a Tribhuvan University professor. He was rushed to Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal. The thieves fled the scene before police arrived.
