KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 700,000 was stolen from an unattended room in Tokha Municipality-15 on Monday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified persons barged into the room of Suk Dev Kafle (41) after breaking the padlock of the door and made off with Rs 35,000 in cash, a laptop and various gold and silver ornaments.

Police said they are looking into the case.
