KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 250,000 was stolen from a rented room in Ghattekulo of KMC-32 on Tuesday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the room of Ekraj Giri (55) of Charpane-2 of Jhapa after breaking the bolt of the door and decamped with various gold ornaments.

Police said that the room was unattended when the incident occured.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
