KATHMANDU:  Property worth around Rs 2.44 million was stolen from an unattended house in Bhainsepati, Karyabinayak Municipality-5 of Lalitpur on Sunday.

According to Ajit Rayamajhi, the thieves broke the locks of the gate and entered his house and made an escape with two laptops along with diamond and gold jewelleries, police said.

Police added that they are searching for the absconding suspects.
