Three theft cases in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: Police said three cases of theft were reported in Lalitpur district on Thursday.

Property worth Rs 104,000 including gold and silver ornaments was stolen from the rented room of Hiralal Phuyal, a permanent resident of Sarlahi district, in Satdobato, LSMC-14, police said.

Likewise, gold and silver jewelleries worth Rs 200,000 were stolen from the room of Liliyan Amatya at the same place, police added.

Yet in another case, an unattended house in Karyabinayak-5 of Lalitpur, was burgled.

Unidentified thieves barged into the house by breaking its front door and made off with gold ornaments and three wrist watches, collectively worth Rs 149,000, police said.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into all cases.
