KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has resumed its normal operation which was disrupted after a Malaysian aircraft experienced runway excursion last night. The international flights from TIA have started operating normally from 11:35 am, according to TIA Spokesperson Prem Nath Thakur. Earlier, the domestic flights had begun partial operations since 9:00 this morning. TIA was closed at around 10:45 pm on Thursday night after a Malindo Air flight OD181 to Kuala Lumpur aborted take-off. The Boeing 737-900ER aircraft taking off for Kuala Lumpur from Kathmandu had slid off the runway at 10:07 pm yesterday.
