KATHMANDU:

The government has decided to lift a ban on the sale of remaining land after acquiring over 118 ropanis for the expansion of the Tribhuvan International Airport. The land up to 150 metres from the centre of the runway towards the south-east of the airport located in Koteshwar and Sinamangal areas would be acquired and the ban on the sale of the remaining land would be removed, the Ministry of Culture, Tou-rism and Civil Aviation has said. The government has directed the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal to implement the decision.
