Training on skills development, health concludes in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Art of Living Nepal Foundation, a humanitarian and educational non-governmental organisation,  today concluded a three-day corporate program with 90 faculty members of Kathmandu Engineering College in Kathmandu today.

The programme was organised with the theme ‘I Excel, I Integrate-Excellence at Workplace’.

Each day, participants shared their experiences and the difference they noticed before and after the exercises.

The session ended with a commitment from the participants to continue the practice for a better life experience.

“The groups were dynamic and keen to make a positive impact in their college environment, hone in on their individual soft skills, to develop human values and team spirit.I was lucky to come upon this program to experience it for myself,” shared facilitator Neeva Pradhan.

“I was able to balance my work, home and social life better and juggle multiple responsibilities thanks to the program. It has given me opportunity to meet people from various walks of life and facilitating these trainings is my way to give back to society,” she added.

In a closing speech, Chairman of the College Professor Hirendra Pradhan said, “I intended to bring this program to my staff, colleagues to help them cope with the stress that arises in the workplace. Having a sound, healthy mind is very important to perform well in the workplace and home.”
